Not a federal arrest warrant (just state). Would they give me one of those passports that ONLY allow you to go back to America or would they arrest me on site and then fly me back to America?

(Unbeknownst to me I married a criminal Mexican and found proof that she married me only for green card and to steal my money, I found the proof of this but American Law "Statute of Limitations" prevented me from using this evidence. I refused to give her everything when she divorced me and asked for more than half (and they agreed) so I left for China to live in a more FAIR country. Now I somehow lost my passport. Now I am in big trouble. I am trying to become citizen of China)

  1. It depends on the warrant and what it is for. I dooubt they will arrest you since it is not Federal. So go get the passport.

  2. a warrant arrest whether it is State or Federal , is still considered a warrant ,

    since you have lost your passport , you have no choice but to contact the US embassy in China ,

    i do think you will get arrested since you mentionned you had a Arrest warrant on file;

    you will be send back to US.

    unfortunaly you can no longer become a Chinese citizen, now that you have no papers on you .

    Read :

    An arrest warrant is a judge's order to law enforcement officers to arrest and bring to jail a person charged with a crime. Before an arrest warrant is issued, the district attorney, a police officer or an alleged victim must make a sworn statement that the accused person committed a crime. It is also called a warrant of arrest.

  3. Sounds like its a bench warrant that was issued from the Judge that proceeded over your divorce, if that's the case don't worry as the Embassy could care less about it and it will only be enforced in the state it was issued and I know that state is not going to pay to fly you back to have you appear in court. Just go and report your lost passport and apply for a new one.

  4. report it the police, the us dept of justice, where you in china?

    you will be taken into custody possibly. but more than likely you will be not given passport but one way trip to the us border.

    if you left the usa to avoid prosecution you are not a fugitive.

    you screwed yourself over big time.

    go to  www.travel.state.gov and find out more. the laws are there.

    if china a not fair natoin allows it. you are not very bright.

    go to www.usa.gov if china allows it too. the stop a lot of that info. you know. geez. it is communist.

  5. The best thing to do would be to call an American imigration lawer to get there advice.
