Lost Permit in CA!!!Help?????

i got my permit on Sept.2 of 2007 so its almost a year. IM taking my test at the end of the month, but i lost my permit. how long does it take to get one? i love in Pasadena, CA. and how much will it cost? thank you!!!

dont u need ur permit to take the test? it usually takes a few hours to get ur permit and usually costs $50-60
