  1. u just got ur best answer right above!

  2. that's a tough one.

having a description and searching that way will probably pull up tens of thousands of people, and still she most likely will not be among them.

I know that Yahoo carries logs of everything done on the website, but you'd have to have the exact time/day, and then plead with someone to check.  It's doubtful they will do anything like that without a court order.

You can try a search for keyword, "pregnant" in the member's directory, but I don't think there will be any luck with that.

Next best is to try and find reference to the conversation on your own computer.    Here are some things to try.

Assuming you are using Windows for your Operating System, check the recyle bin to see if anything looks familar.  If it does, write down where the file came from, select restore, go to the restored location and take a look.

Look at your browser's history and temporary file folder cache.  The history is the easiest to search.  Look for the date, time of when you had the conversation, then select the same on "history" and see if there are entries.

If so, click on them and you may find where you were or even the conversation.  (btw if the conversation was in a usergroup, that is searchable under your user name and should bring up anything eversaid by someone with that user name.)

If you were fortunate enough to have anything stored onto the hard drive, e.g., message backup, it will still be on your computer.

First, try searhing in the Temporary Internet Files for a file with the date/time.  Open it and see if it's what you are looking for.

Failing that, about the only thing left is to look at the "hidden" contents of the hard drive.  For that you have to use a data recovery program.  If you do, make certain nothing more is written to the disk that the conversation may have been stored to.

A program I often use is "PCInspector" (http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/... ).  And it is Free.  With it you can look for deleted files, closed files, lost files due to system failure.

To use it go see if the message was being and where it was being backed up.  Go to that drive.  Run the program.

It will bring up all files/folders on the disk--ones currently there, those sent to the recycle bin and empted, those that were deleted or erased in any way, e.g., computer lock up, crash, power failure.  If it was stored to the disk, this program will find it.

Again check for the date and time, looking for something that seems to match the conversation name.  If that doesn't work, then you will have to get a list of all the files on the disk (in clusters) and go through them one by one.

If however, nothing was written to/message backed up to a disk, but only done in RAM (for your purposes) it cannot be recovered.

Just as I am typing this--it is in RAM--and should my system go down, this will be lost.   Hopefully though, something was either stored to the Hard Drive by way of the History, Temporary Internet files or to some other place and PCInspector can get at it.

    Good luck.
