Lost Radio Code?

I have lost the radio code for my philips radio in my peugeot 406 lx and the battery has died, its now asking me to enter it and i haven't a clue what it is. if anyone knows the code could they please post it for me. many thanks.

It's different for each car, so you have to go to a Peugeot dealership, and get the code from them.

check the owners manual. most manufacturers provide the security code under the audio/stereo/interior electronics section.

also, u will have to provide the model and serial number from the stereo itself incase someone has the program here to give u the code. this usually is behind or under the stereo.

Have a look in the service and look up the dealer that did the pre delivery inspection, give them a call as they should have it on there computer system.

It is, as already said, different for each one. Your Peugeot dealer can find the serial number and enquire of Peugeot's database for the code.  The last I heard they had to ask somewhere in France, hopefully it's a bit quicker nowadays!

You sure it isn't scribbled in the handbook or service book? A lot of people do that.
