Lost Rubella Immunity during Pregnancy??

I had my first son in Sept'05. I am RH negative and had a c-section so they tested my blood a million times to be sure that I was really RH negative and I had the proper antibodies, etc.. Everything was fine in 05. I had my 2nd son in Feb and when they did all this blood testing they said I lost my Rubella immunity. What is up with that? What else can you loose?

It has been a few years (daughter is 9) but I remember the doctor telling me I wasn't immune to Rubella during my pregnancy. I think after I delivered I was given an immunization. As a child I had all my immunizations but those immunizations might not be the same as today (I am 31). I thought it was very strange too.

Everything you are vaccinated for can wear off. The only thing that gives you life long immunity is actually having the disease.
