Question:

Lost Spool pin and cap for QuikStitch SP-402

I borrowed the machine from my sister and it is missing the spool pin and cap, but I do have the spool stand. Is there anything else I can use as a spool pin and do I really need the spool cap? If I have to get these exact pieces, does anyone know if and where I can order only these parts? Thanks
