Lost Title? Vehicles On My Property?

Question

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and I have 2 cars on my property. I have repaired them and they are drivable. I want to sell them if I don't keep them. My problem is the previous owners have moved away and I dont know where they are. I had the title of one vehicle along with a bill of sale and the bill of sale for the other one. There was a fire and water damage and the paperwork was destroyed before I could try to register these vehicles. What should I do? Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

wow that sux... hope you learned a lesson not to procrastinate

I would go to the dmv.. they can help you get in contact with the registered owner.. they can file for lost title and obtain a new one and sign over to you...

Do some research how to file for title under abandoned property laws for your  state (Nevada).
