I'm 23, I live alone, I pay about $1100 in bills alone each month. I don't get any help from my family. I don't have a choice but to work fulltime, and it's at a job I don't enjoy, only because it pays well. Currently I owe 7grand in tuition that I have to pay monthly on top of everything. Now I'm trying to go to school in the fall and it's going to be even more money. I'm so stressed out. I I don't have any friends, all I do is worry and get upset over my mess of a life. I feel so lost.

  1. is that a question? if you want my advice do whatever you need to to cut costs, get a room mate, apply for grants for school and eliminate unneeded costs. other then that i don't know what to tell you. good luck and one last thought... maybe your family could help out..... don't be afraid to ask for help

  2. I think you are a true warrior. Your on your own and if I am not mistaken your doing quite well. I wish I could live on my own have a job to pay for it all and I am 19. If you really want to go back to school which it seems like it do it then. I would suggest applying for financial aid and possibly taking out some loans. If you have to take out loans make the best of it to do well in school and get a great career out of it.

  3. I don't know what state you live in but if you have been a resident there for a year you should be able to apply for grants and scholarships and you get even more if your grades are good. I know it's no fun but I took a bunch of student loans out for college- most people have at least some. You could apply for some and get them back when you are done.

Also, since you are a little older- you might consider to apply to be a RA- resident assistant- you can live in the dorms at your college for free - but you have to help check on the younger kids in the dorms- also there are almost always work study programs at school- you work somewhere on campus in between classes- and you get more for school or living expenses.

If you are trying and in school - your life is not so bad- it could be worse :) - I won't go there - but try to look on the bright side.

I know I worked at Taco Bell - Subway and Pizza Hut while in College - I had to pay for my own apartment and car and etc. It can be hard- I sympathize- but don't give in :) - just take it a day at a time and keep your eye on the prize. Keep your goals in focus :) - As for friends- maybe if you get involved in a few clubs or activities at school it would help. Good Luck! Your future is bright ! Don't Give Up!

  4. What is your goal?  What do you enjoy?  You sound as though you are a marvelous person who would be good to know because you are working toward a goal and mean business.  Does the worrying help pay the bills?
