  1. if you can get into the car look under the dashboard on the drivers side and locate the "key box" it is about 1 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches long and about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. This will be near the steering column. You will need a flat blade screwdriver to pry it apart so you can remove the key.If you break the box you can get a new one at bulldog security.com they carry universal "key boxes" so do most  Meijers .Bulldog security.com also carries Key Blanks with transponders in them for $30.00 to put into the key box.

  2. The spare key is used to disable the immoblizer system in your car.  The immobilizer is to prevent your car from being started without a key that is registered to the pcm(computer).  The key should be located around the igntion of the car.  Its usually wrapped in electrical tape and zip tied.  If you can remove the steering column cover, usually a few screws, you should be able to find it.

  3. go to the shop get it removed now.  you can get a new one for around 100 bucks.

  4. Most police cars have a slim jim in most towns and can pop the lock for him. Or, call AAA or a locksmith. Really COMPLICATED!

  5. take it to a shop, the mechanic will have a "slim jim", they use it to unlock doors.
