Lost connection. AVG antivirus. HELP!?!?

I installed AVG free anti virus. I did a scan on the computer and found some "threats". I deleted them and turned of the computer. When I turned it on again I can not go online?

I have no connection and I'm trying to "repair" but nothing is working?

What can I do? Did I delete something important?

Please help me!!

  1. Probably, you did not delete virus  entries from virus vault, in AVG menus.

    now try to restore your system to back date,

    click start, all programmes, accessories, system tools,

    system restore.

    select a date some days back, when your system was working normally.

    click next and follow instructions.

    After restore run again avg, anti virus scan(after updating avg.)

    then delete virus entries from virus vault.

    if possible run avg scan in safe mode.

    at startup,

    after bios load, pressF8,go to safe mode to run scan.
