  1. go and see someone who's really qualified and be like AHHH MY LAPTOPS GUNNA KILL ME SORT IT OUT and hand them money?[you never know :P]

  2. Change your cmos battery, if it defaults each time you turn it off it is likely the cmos battery. Open the unit and there is one of the watch type batteries (only much larger) on the board, change that and it should be cured, easily available from Maplin or similar. The cmos battery keeps the memory powered up 24/7.

  3. You could try taking your Macbook to any of the Apple shops and ask them to help, as they people that work there are pretty knowledgeable on the products. Also try taking it back to the place were you bought it from, with the receipts/warranty and ask them to help you out as it might be a faulty laptop. Other than that I can't think of anything that you could do yourself that would help fix your Macbook. I reckon that it's most likely faulty.

  4. Return it and buy a PC
