Problem is i need a key ASAP like tommorow and all the motorcyle shops are closed on Sundays and Mondays here in Atlanta, GA. Anyone know where I can get a new key cut for my ninja 250 and around the cost of it?

  1. Call a few locksmiths. Many of them have the code books for keys.It might take a few trys to find one that has a bike code book.

  2. I'd be surprised if you couldnt find a locksmith on a sunday. Its going to cost you though.

  3. Not off of the number tag. That is dealer only. They are generally 20-40 bucks and I would suggest you get two. Plan on showing registration and photo license. If it is not registered/titled in your name, whoever's name it is in must go.

  4. Locksmith is the best bet but you are going to have to get up off the money and prove ownership. Best to keep a spare on the bike somewhere and have one if you need it. I carry on in my wallet plus leave one at home just in case. If you ever lose one and have to  replace it, ASAP replace the lock cylinder(s) on your bike.
