I lost my license and im going to the dmv to get a new one what kinda of paper work do I need? and how much does it cost?

  1. not more than $20. at least that was the price when i lost mine some years ago.

    if you have an old registration laying around, or an old license will help.

    you just need to prove you are you.


  2. In WV, you need to take a state certified birth certificate, and a proof of residency (utility bill). It costs $5 to replace. But it's probably different in your state. I'd call the DMV first just to make sure you have everything you need.

  4. I my state, Arizona, you can order a replacement on line.  No paper. Costs $10.
