Lost my top contributor spot...why?

i became a top contributor in online and video games, and when i logged on today it was gone..how come i lost my title?

The 'Top Contributor' badge isn't permanent - it comes and goes (on Monday mornings) depending on your recent activity level here. The badge reflects both quality and quantity of participation in a given category over the last few weeks. Yahoo doesn't make the formula public (and it can change without notice), but the current best guess on the specifics of the requirements is 1) about 30 or more answers per week in the category, 2) at least 20 'best answers' (some say a 'B.A.%' of 10 or better) in the category within the last 3 weeks, and 3) 200 or more total points per week (including all answers, B.A.s, votes, and 'thumbs ups') in the category. I would suggest checking to see if your activity levels could possibly have fallen below one of those minimums. Good luck regaining your badge!
