Lost password. My daughter is freaking out because she forgot the password to her Hello Kitty

My daughter is freaking out because she forgot the password to her Hello Kitty electronic password diary. We tried so many combos (it's four shapes at the top of the diary) & nothing works. I can't find the original directions/instructions on what to do if this happens. Any help is appreciated. I already attempted to take out the batteries but that didn't work & I couldn't find any information online. Thanks in advance! Lisa
