Lost personal details on paper in Sydney, is it dangerous?

I lost a paper with my driving license printed (both sides) that show my name, residence, birthdate, and license details, and i also lost another paper with it showing my mobile number, do you think this might endanger me? how can I report it?

    So was it just a copy of your drivers licence?

    Even if its your actual licence I seriously don't think you are in any danger at all! Except perhaps if you get caught driving without a licence.

    You can report it at the local Police Station. They won't do anything but at least that way if somebody hands it in they can get it back to you.


  2. There's not really anything you can do as it was only a copy of your driver's licence.  However, if you think the mobile number is with the driver's licence details, then you might want to change the phone number.  

    Your driver's licence info is pretty much useless to others if they have no details of your bank account, superannuation, etc.  Someone would need to know much more about you to usefully put ID theft into practice.  The copy of the driver's licence would also be difficult to use as ID as it would show your photo, not that of the person trying to use it.
