Lost the installation Cd to Fisher Price-Digital.... I had a new hard drive put in the computer.

Question

I had a new hard drive put in the computer. In a attempt to reload my daughter's A&C studio I notied that the lights did not come illuminate on the system neither did the computer respond to the new hardware. Is the machine dead or is the missing installaton cd the cause of the problem?
Either way is there anything you can suggestto assisst me?
