  1. is your exterior walls cinder block and your interior walls also the same cinder block?

if so, you can (pick a time each area is dry) and apply a sealer coat to the cinder block....that will seal out moisture that is permeating the pores of the concrete

.....the best situation will be to seal the outside first, then when the inside wall looks dry, seal it too and....juz as a thought, does your home have an 'evaporative cooler' type air system?.....if it does, make sure to have some windows open when it is running (with screens on the windows!) because that type of system requires outside air to work well, the dryer hooter air the better, like from your attic in the Texas summer is perfect, but the cooled air also needs to escape or it builds up moisture inside on the walls and in the carpets

...by any chance is your home situated on a wet piece of ground?.....your concrete foundation should also be sealed against moisture

.....is your home pier-and-beam, with cinder block exterior walls?

...if so the flooring materail should be moisture treated or it wil decay and results in spongy, unsafe floors

.....as for those walls, again,, concrete sealer is probably one good thing to consider, inside and out

....today many sealers are also stains, so outside and inside can be lovely colors....got to Lowe's or Home Depot if you can, and check out the Behar brand products for concrete sealer/stains

  2. What exactly does that mean? Do you know the source of the water? If you know the source of the water have you stopped it from continuing?

  3. put a straw in it and enjoy
