the Mayan calender ends i think on December 21st 2012 also in that year on that date all the planets in the solar system the sun and the super massive black hole in our galaxy will be aligned the Mayans figured out this happens every 36,000 years  no one knows what kinda of effect this will have on nature in our solar system its been in debate for years there might be great catastrophes who knows but as far as the world ending when the sun turns into red giant in a few billion years that will be the end of the world as far as humanity on this planet who knows?

In the sense of the world as we know it, yes the world will end, but the reality that the universe is energy and energy cannot die tells us that it won't "DIE"  it will simply change. The change is nothing to be feared. Over the course of the history of the universe it has changed many times and each time humanity has survived and grown.

Okay, because you said 'lots of stuff', i know that you don't even know all the things are. I know this information because I did a speech on it in Public Speaking, and I was of course against the world ending in 2012. There was the Mayan Calendar and thats only because in December of 2012 the calendar starts over. whoop-dee-doo! When we buy a new calendar, the world doesn't end. Another reason was that there is a magnetic pole shift occuring meaning that more UV rays will hit the earth and of course everyone that goes outside will be fried. Wow! that's catastrophic! There is a new atom smasher that will be used for the first time in 2012 and there is a possibility that when they use it, it will create a black hole and destroy the earth.... yea okay. If that was true, they wouldnt be allowed to turn it on. lol. I don't feel like saying all of the retarded reasons, but i think i gathered up like 11 of them. Another one was because even the music world is talking about the end of the world. That one song 'It's the end of the world as we know, and I feel fine.' I don't know the name of it, but some people actually believe that as one of their reasons. The funny thing about all of these reasons, they all happen at different times. Which would be impossible if they were all correct, right? So I can tell you what happened right now. The mayan calendar is starting over. It started a rumor 'Hey maybe the world will come to an end'. Which gets people curious and they start looking for ways the world could end in 2012. Its like the number 23 thing, you'll find it if you look for it.
