How do I know if it's real? It looks very real.. A while ago I played this lottery game, even though I wasn't supposed too, I used *************, and signed up, entered some lottery numbers, then left.. I kept receiving e-mails to confirm my winnings, but I figured it was all fake.. so I ignored.. Then today I got a check saying "We tried reaching you via e-mail, but you did not respond, here is your winnings, contact a claim agent for further details, the check says my name, address, from Frost National Bank DALLAS, TEXAS 75225, and on the left side, KEYROCK CAPITAL LLC, then the address, says call the claim agent for applicable processing fee, international clearence fee, and none residential fee. It must be deposited into your account only after speaking with your claims agent.

then it says I will receive the rest of my winnings

  1. I have recently had many offers that I was beneficiary of estates, I had government funds waiting and the lottery. These are not real . They are a hoax. They don't ask you to send money for fees if it was real. Sorry....don't be misled. It's spam. Never give out your account number or other info either.

The real lottery doesn't work that way. It was only mailed because you didn't respond by email and don't.

  2. You should not have to pay a fee to get your winnings. It's definitely a scam if they sent you a check in the mail without confirming anything with you. That's probably a fake check, so i wouldn't try to cash it just yet. I thinks it's one of those scams trying to get you to enter into another lottery.  Why don't you contact the bank on the check and see if it's legit or not.

  3. It's a scam, they get you to cash the check and send them their "fee", then when the check bounces you get screwed. Call the cops and report it.

  4. It's simple...

if it looks too good to be true..

    Then it's a Fraud!!

Whatever you do, Just deposit the check and don't send them a penny. If they hassle you, thell them you're going to contact the authorities for fraud.

  5. This is a scam.  If you cash/deposit the check, now they have your account number.  It is ALWAYS  a scam if a fee is envolved.  Shred the check and forget about it!

  6. It is a SCAM !!!!

They want you to contact them and pay the

Fees upfront before you can cash the Check...

You deposit the check and it Bounces...

They are probably not even in the USA...

Do Not sign or deposit the Check as it

will make you Libel for the FRAUD...

  7. it's a scam

  8. I would research the company before cashing the check.  Talk to your local Better Business Bureau and the one for the area where the company is located, talk with your bank, and do a search for the company name online.  If you get any hits anywhere saying that this is a scam, DON'T CASH THE CHECK!!  A quick search, I found the company name, but it looked like a software company.  It doesn't look good so far.
