Lotto order numbers?

Ok my frend thinks that the lotto numbers dont have to be in the exact order to win the lotto. I think you have to have the numbers in the exact order that they draw.Which one is rght know.I live in Florida.

They must be in the exact order they are drawn...if the winning numbers were: 35, 24 , 15 then YOUR picks must be in THAT order...that's why it's SO hard to win that danged thing...!!! If all you had to have was those numbers, in any random order, there would be a winner every couple of days!

imagine this, you fill out a playslip at the local store, does it know what # you filled in first, no!

large jackpot lotteries such as the mega millions, and powerball and just about ANY other one that has a payout in the millions, you DO NOT need to match the order.

in the pick 3 or pick 4, there are only 1000 possible #'s in pick 3 and 10,000 in pick 4. therefore, the give you the option, play it straight (YOU MUST MATCH IN ORDER, or box (ORDER CAN BE WRONG).

Someone has got it completely wrong!! The only game in the US where the numbers must be in exact order is the Mix & Match game played in PA. In all the other games the ORDER DOESN'T MATTER. Of course this excludes 3-digit and 4-digit games such as Pick 3 and Cash 4.

If the order mattered nobody would win FOREVER!!! since the odds would be in trillions instead of millions.

Although I don't know much about lotteries in other countries, I don't think the order matters in any other nation's lottery  in the world.
