Of course the dishwasher is just over 1 year old and I am hearing something I have either never heard before or, if I did, it wasn't this loud. While the dishwasher is draining (I know because I am hearing water in my garbage disposal) I hear a rather loud humming/vibrating sound. This happens a few times during the normal cycle as well as the Eco wash cycle. The dishes are coming out clean, dry and there is no water left on the bottom of the unit when I open the door. I am concerned because I was surprised at how quiet the dishwasher was when we first got it. It even boasts about being quieter than other dishwashers. Any suggestions or ideas as to why?
My husband took off the bottom and ran a cycle, the noise sounds like it is coming from the pump assembly( which is not hitting the floor). What do you think it could be? What could we check next? This is the loudest noise coming from the dishwasher during a cycle, is that common?
