Loughside Jack to hijack success at Henlow – A1 Race Preview
D Whitton’s black dog, Loughside Jack, is all set to show a big run at Henlow track and win the Grade A1 race of 460m Flat distance.
The dashing dog will compete against Savana Reg, Westmead Omar, Savana Ted and Gilbeyhall Joe. The £75 contest is scheduled to begin at 21:27 (GMT).
Since the very beginning of his career in October 2011, Loughside Jack has been enjoying great form. The year of 2012 has proved to be a fortunate enough for him.
From January 27, 2012 to February 16, the son of Eskimo Jack out of Fantastic won four races in a row. All these triumphs came with big margins.
In his last outing on February 23, the young and talented dog finished third.
This splendid success streak has perked up Loughside Jack’s momentum to a great extent. At the moment, he is at the peak of his form which will help him make a big impact tonight.
If the two-year-old runner manages to maintain his winning momentum, he will surely be able to earn seventh success of his career.
However, Loughside Jack’s march towards success is not going to be easy and smooth as at least two of his competitors named as Savana Reg and Gilbeyhall Joe will pose mammoth challenges to him.
Savana Reg has been performing consistently since the very beginning of his career in November 2011. Derrick Atkins’ blue dog registered two consecutive triumphs during December 2011.
After winning two races in January 2012, the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Quare Moment finished first in his last outing on February 23.
Gilbeyhall Joe has also earned two victories since the dawn of the calendar year. D Whitton’s black dog finished third each in his last two starts during the last month.
Thus, both these dogs seem to be in good momentum at the moment. It is anticipated that there will be a tough battle among Gilbeyhall Joe, Savana Reg and Loughside Jack at Henlow racecourse. Let us see who gains what. Good luck to all the runners.
