Loughteen Blanco and Coolykereen Imp all set to heat the track in the Grade OR SIS Open 525 at Shelbourne Park 
Loughteen Blanco and Coolykereen Imp will deliver an exciting race at Shelbourne Park on 10th March, 2012. These two hounds will be racing as joint favourites, with the odds of 3 to 1 in the Grade OR SIS Open 525.
The favourites will be competing against Longrange Ivor, Tinas Nova, Cuil Cougar, and Swift Marathon for €500 over a distance of 525 yards.
Loughteen Blanco, trained by O. McKenna, finished in fifth place in the Grade OR Racing Post Greyhound TV 480 Standard DIV 1, held at Wimbledon on 28th
February, 2012.
Over the duration of his career, the son of Droopys Scolari, out of Loughteen Lassie, has raced in multiple tracks such as Wimbledon, Shelbourne Park, Waterford and Harold’s Cross among other tracks over a range of distances.
He bagged a victory on 24th February, 2012 at the same track when he defeated, Shelbourne Geoff, by 3 lengths in 28.62 seconds.
Coolykereen Imp has a slight advantage as he has been racing at Shelbourne Park for most of his career. Trained by Byrne, the son of Rumble Impact, out of Lady Leona, is attracting bets and popularity in the market.
He bagged a victory in the Grade OR Tyrur Big Mike @ Stud Open 525, which was held at Shelbourne Park, on 28th January, 2012. He was the evening’s favourite and lived up to all the expectations as he defeated, Tyrur Lucky, by
1 ½ lengths in 28.75 seconds.
Based on this win, the punters and bookmakers are watching him closely, and hoping that he will perform in the same manner.
Trained by Muldoon, Tinas Nova is also a subject of interest to the bookmakers in this race. His popularity is also increasing in the market and he will be racing in this event with the odds of 7 to 2.
The son of Big Daddy Cool, out of Sunnyside Tina, finished as a runner-up in the Grade OR SIS Live Open 525, on 3rd March, 2012, at Shelbourne Park.
