Loughteen Blanco to grab winning spot in Williamhill.com Classic - 2nd Semi-final at Sunderland
Loughteen Blanco opened his Sunderland account with a smart win and one can expect him to come up with more good stuff. Following an excellent success in the opening round of the Williamhill.com Classic, the blue dog is well prepared for a bold show in second
semi-final of the championship, taking place on Saturday, July 7th.
S. Cahill’s charge came to Sunderland after producing a lot of good results at Hove. He was not considered to be a major player in Classic due to his little knowledge about this track. However, an excellent solo outing was enough for him to understand the
surface.
After an outstanding solo journey, he improved his work and demonstrated an extraordinary show last time. He established his supremacy soon after the start and retained his advantage till the wire. As a result, he bagged the top prize by 3¾ lengths.
Despite the fact that there are some giants in the line-up, it is hard to rule Loughteen Blanco out of the equation. He is expected to appear with a solid show and create plenty of mess for the rivals.
Others in the 450 metres open race are: Droopys Loner, Guinness Dusty, Castlebride Dan, Bickerton Olive and Holloway Road. All the contestants are ready to fire and the action will be kicked off at 20:42 (GMT).
Droopys Loner was an easy winner in the previous round. The blue and brindle b***h did well to secure the victory, despite getting crowded at the first bend. She will be tough to contain, if clearing T1.
Holloway Road caused a huge upset in the first round, but needs an extra effort to repeat the show. Guinness Dusty in fine fettle, but requires riding his lucky early to make an impact. Castlebride Dan cannot afford to give his rivals too much rope. Likewise,
Bickerton Olive must dig deeper, when the pressure mounts.
The situation is not easy for the punters to decide. According to our predictions, Loughteen Blanco will be able to notch up the first rank. Droopys Loner, however, is not going to let him enjoy the party comfortably. Good luck to all the runners.
