Loui Eriksson says it would be an honour for him to play with Triple Gold club member Jaromir Jagr
Loui Eriksson, a Swedish professional Ice Hockey player who plays for Dallas Stars in the                Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL) has expressed his happiness on playing with the legendary figure of NHL, Jaromir Jagr.
The 27-year-old forward revealed that he himself is a fan of Czech International player and it would be an honour for him to play with member of Triple Gold Club. Triple Gold Club is a term which is used for players who have won Ice Hockey World Championships,
Gold Medal in the Winter Olympic Games in Ice Hockey and Stanley Cup of the NHL.
They would have make one of the most explosive combination of the league when the left winger Jamie Benn, the right winger Jaromir Jagr and Eriksson who can play on both right and the left wing, will pair up.
Talking to Dallas Stars’ website, the Gothenburg, Sweden native expressed his delight on Monday. Eriksson thinks it would be awesome to play with Jagr and different than Benn, as he said,
"I've played with (Jamie) Benn before, but Jagr is a totally different person to play with. It would be awesome to play with a player like Jagr.
The 6-foot-2, 193 pounder would also be looking to learn from the experienced player and keen to see how Jagr would be going to practice and then looking forward to play with as he added,
"He can teach me a lot. He's played in the NHL a long time and everyone knows how good he is. It's going to be fun to see how he is in practice and then play with him in games."
The Czech Republic international, Jagr has got 988 assists in the NHL and just 12 short of getting to 1000 mark. He has also got 665 goals which takes his total points tally to 1653 in 1346 games.
Along with Jagr in this transfer agency, another veteran Ray Whitney joined Stars’ side, which has also made Eriksson excited. The silver medallist of 2011 world championship also said,
"It's going to be interesting. We've got two older guys – Jagr and Whitney – coming in, plus Roy and the other guys. It looks good and it's going to be fun."
