Is he good enough for the world cup ? Would he be the first born and bred Londerner to do it ?

  1. i think he's definitely in with a chance of playing for England, i saw the game tonight and it was a good try that he scored

  2. He's a good larker with plenty of pace but I'm not sure he will get sniff at the moment especially as he doesn't play for a fashionable club. Although he is good at taking the ball up in attack his defence still needs a bit of work. We need to be able to contain the aussies down the middle as well as out wide if we are to have any chance. There will be quite a few others in front of him for selection so I don't think he will go, give him 2 more years and I reckon he could develop into a very good SL player.

By the way I live in Hertfordshire so don't be giving me any Northern bias cr@p

Edit: yeah 'Chariots' was born in Hackney, London

  3. yes he really has the potential to be an international but this years world cup may be too soon but he would be a good addition to the squad even if he doesn't make the starting 13.

i believe martin offiah was born & bred in london but i may be wrong( my wife says i usually am).
