Montpellier president, Louis Nicollin is a man who will never hold back on his words and while talking to the media, the colourful chairman of La Paillade had a few things to say about Paris Saint-Germain
Historical figure of French football and current president of Montpellier Herault, Louis Nicollin will never walk out of a press conference without something different to say. The chairman is never going to hold back on what he feels and while talking to
the media, the controversial Frenchman chose to say a few things about Paris Saint-Germain.
The colourful chairman is certainly a fun guy to interview and there is hardly any reporter who has struggled to get anything out of the Frenchman, such is the eagerness in Nicollin.
The president has created the image of a truculent leader, always there to say the right thing. While talking to Canal Football Club, Loulou was once again at it and this time around, it was his take on Paris Saint-Germain that is bound to start a small
rivalry in the future.
In a week where the likes of Paris Saint-Germain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 and LOSC Lille failed to secure maximum points, Loulou reckons that he always knew a bad week was bound to happen eventually.
However, the way Loulou chose his words was certainly different to the traditional way of saying things.
“Nene will be there. But others, no problem. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752, no problem! We have often been successful at Parc des Princes. Now PSG is for Qataris, I have nothing against them. But hasn’t the identity been lost? I’m sure some fans
must have a heavy heart. If they came to us and that I was the boss, I would sign on.”
However, Nicollin also says that three or four years from now, his club would always be in contention for major honours.
While talking about the star players’ future at the club, Loulou said that he has no obligation to sell the likes of Olivier Giroud, Younes Belhanda and Mapou. Nicollin also said that he is not a bad boy and says what he feels is right.
