Louis Oosthuizen withdraws from Alfred Dunhill Championship
Louis Oosthuizen was having a decent tournament till the time he was forced to retire from the Alfred Dunhill Championship due to an eye infection.
Although the South African Golf professional was not up to his level best during the tournament, he was capable of making a comeback. His presence would have put pressure on the top players on the leaderboard.
Charl Schwartzel eventually won the tournament with a delightful display of golf, especially during the second and the third round.
Oosthuizen is one of the most competent golfers in the world and has always been a major contender in any tournament he enters.
His tournament till the end of the third round was nothing extraordinary. He made several blunders that cost him numerous places on the leaderboard.
Oosthuizen is one of those players who have a major impact on South African golf. His overall excellent game and a charismatic follow through of his drives are highly respected.
