Tottenham Hotspur’s forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Louis-Saha-c22459 believes that his side can go on and reproduce the form that Arsenal have shown in recent weeks, as both the teams look to secure the third spot in the Premier League table.
Last month, Tottenham were sitting in the third spot in the Premier League table, with a comfortable ten point lead over Arsenal.
However, following a dramatic turn around, the Gunners are now sitting on top of Tottenham and possess a three point lead over their local rivals.
The Spurs fall from grace started when they lost to Arsenal in the Premier League. This resulted in the team playing five games without picking up a single win, while the Gunners went on to win seven games in a row.
Despite the way things are positioned at the moment, Saha believes that Tottenham can still salvage their season and go above Arsenal.
However, he admitted that in order for the team to do so, they would have to recreate the form that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have displayed in recent weeks, while hoping for the Gunners to slip up sooner, rather than later.
Saha, when talking about Tottenham and the dramatic turn around that Arsenal have shown is quoted to have said: "It is football, with lots of paradoxes and things can quickly change"
"Arsenal have had a run so they are confident. They are in the front seat, they are in a good position but it doesn't mean we cannot do the same.”
"We have shown consistency during the season. We may have dropped a few points during the past weeks but we have shown that we have closed the gap in terms of our performances.”
The Frenchman then admitted that the team had a number of good players on their squad, who had ample experience which could prove to be crucial in the final run in of the season.
"We definitely have players with experience like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/William-Gallas-c36874 and Rafael van der Vaart who have won lots of things, so I think that experience is on our side."
It is now a wait to see just how far Tottenham can go, before the season comes to an end.
