Louis Van Gaal to replace Luigi Delneri at Juventus FC next season – Serie A Update
Juventus FC have been searching for a replacement of their current tactician, Luigi Delneri, and reports from Italy have revealed that the recently sacked Bayern Munich head coach, Louis Van Gaal, is coming to Italy next season.
Delneri’s position is once again under speculation after Monday’s draw against Chievo Verona at home turf. Previously, the head coach had claimed that he will be staying at the Turin giants but after the unlikely outcome of the match, he believes that the
club will decide his future now and he would not have a say in the decision.
According to speculations in Italy, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Paratici, assistant sporting director at Juventus, has held the initial talks with Van Gaal’s representative and the deal is taking good shape. The Old Lady would be placing an offer on the table for the Dutchman
should they fail to lure one the top other two options under consideration: Luciano Spalletti of Zenit St. Petersburg and Manchester City’s tactician, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323.
Van Gaal was recently sacked by the Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, after Die Roten’s inconsistent performance in the German top flight. The tactician was blamed for the team’s inconsistency despite his proven track record whilst in charge of Ajax, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753
national team, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 boss, Walter Mazzarri, is also being mentioned as a possible replacement in some circles. The former Juve midfielder, Antonio Conte, who just started his career as a coach with AC Siena, is also a surprise inclusion in the rumours.
Juve have had a problematic season in the Italian top flight and have lagged behind the league’s top outfits. The team currently sits on the 7th spot in the Italian top flight with no chance of achieving the much desired UEFA Champions League
berth. The Lady Killers are running a total revamp campaign in the summer transfer window and are keen to make a better ending to the next season.
