What would you classify the building of Versailles and St. Petersburg, is that a politial achievment or religious. Also I have to compare and contrast Louis XIV and Peter the Great politically religiously and economically/socially. what did they achieve in those catagories. Very tedious I know.

The Château de Versailles, or simply Versailles, is a royal château in Versailles, France.

In English it is often referred to as the Palace of Versailles. When the château was built, Versailles was a country village, but it is now a suburb of Paris. From 1682, when King Louis XIV moved from Paris, until the royal family was forced to return to the capital in 1789, the Court of Versailles was the centre of power in Ancien Régime France. At latitude 59°56′N, Saint Petersburg is the world's largest city north of Moscow (55°45′N). 4.6 million people live in the city, and over 6 million people in the city with its vicinity. Saint Petersburg is a major European cultural center, and important Russian port on the Baltic Sea. The city, as federal subject, has a total area of 1439 square km.

I would classify Versailles as a political avoidment. Louis built Versailles to blind people of France's state of disaster back then. It was a smart move because he kept all the important people in Versailles months at a time (usually 6 months) will the rest of France was in Chaos.
