Louisiana State Governor Bobby Jindal weighs in on the NBA lockout

After the NBA cancelled the first two weeks of the next regular season, a number of high profile personalities have expressed their concerns.
The most notable among them was the US President Barrack Obama. Tiger Woods also opened up about the issue recently. There is one more guy, who has let his feelings out on the issue.
He is the Louisiana State Governor Bobby Jindal.
Jindal, a former member of the United States House of Representatives, wants the NBA owners and players association (NBPA) in order to salvage the next season and the reputation of the league.
Jindal admitted that all he could do for now is to watch and wait, but urged the parties involved to get a move on;
"All we can do is strongly encourage them to continue to work together, strongly encourage them to continue to get the season back on track." Jindal said.
Jindal particularly talked about the consequences New Orleans Hornets, the franchise which falls under his domain, might face because of the lockout.
Hornets are currently owned by NBA, which purchased the franchise from George Shinn and Gary Chouest for an estimated $300 million in December 2010. After the deal, they have been strong reports of the league moving the franchise
to another city in order to get better revenues. Expecting the worst case scenario, the Hornets faithful came out in huge numbers, especially in the second half of the season and revenues at the New Orleans arena rose considerably.
 "The Hornets have done a great job selling season tickets; they've done a great job selling corporate sponsorships. They've increased the value of the team to potential buyers. The good news is we look stronger than ever before...
to keep the Hornets. The likelihood of keeping the Hornets here looks very, very good." Jindal said
However, at the moment when NBA lockout has completed three months with no progress made whatsoever to ensure the beginning of the next season. If the situation continues, the interest level of the buyers can decline and with it,
the price of the franchise.
