well it looks like new orleans or lafayette or somewhere in between...but i live in baton rouge and i'm not evacuating (but i wish i was but family don't want to leave) so it looks like we are going to be on the east side of the storm (the worst side) i'm really nervous

Don't know. But the aftermath of Katrina had many important social lessons for us all... Black police officers looting department stores, a Black mayor who couldn't be bothered with ordering an evacuation until it was too late, Black Hood Warlords shooting at rescue helicopters and holding ambulance drivers as hostages, Black rapists in all the Superdome restrooms, Blacks getting into line over and over again to receive multiple FEMA vouchers. And who could forget the famous guy carrying that ice chest full of stolen beer? He's a cultural icon!

The Lafayette area or a little more east of that, we are about 30 minutes  northwest of Lafayette and we are hoping it doesn't come here or at least not to bad!!....wow, someone has a racist issue, (not going to point anyone out though)!!Hint...(below me)

I regretablly will say Lafayette, maybe a little west, say 20 miles (eye).
