Is it true that the Lourve lies on the north marker of an imaginary compass of museums in france?

  1. I haven't heard.  The Louvre does lie on the "Rose Line" which is a line of markers that runs north-south through Paris starting at St. Sulpice.  It's the same line they talk about in "The DaVinci Code" - marked every 10 or 20 metres by a little brass marker ... supposedly you can follow it through the city.


  2. I've never heard of such a thing.
