Evgeny Lovchev tipped Karpin to remain at the Russian Premier League club despite their failure to secure European qualification and has talked about Roman Pavlyuchenko
News in Russian media suggests that Valery Karpin will leave Spartak Moscow at the end of the Russian Premier League campaign with the likes of Celta Vigo and Rayo Vallecano closely monitoring the 44-year-old’s situation at the
Luzhniki stadium.
Karpin replaced Unai Emery, who joined Seville FC after being sacked months after joining the Moscow-based club, at the helm and signed a contract to remain the boss until the end of the ongoing campaign.
At that time, Karpin told media that he will coach the Myaso until the club will sign a suitable replacement. If speculations are to be believed, Spartak are keeping tabs on Dutch tactician d**k Advocaat, who is reportedly not
happy at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven.
Famous sports analyst, Evgeny Lovchev, has tipped Karpin to stay at the Moscow-based club after insisting that the Red-Whites are in need of him despite his failure to help the club in securing UEFA Champions League berth this
season.
As things stand, Spartak are at the Seventh spot on the league table with 45 points and trailing the Champions League spot by massive 13 points. With just two games remaining until the end of the ongoing campaign, the Svinyi are
unlikely to achieve top European football.
“I am sure Karpin will remain at Spartak regardless of his failure to take Spartak to the European Cups. He signed a contract six months ago when the club needed him the most. I think he has a deep down desire to either win the
championship or the European Cup. I think Leonid Fedun should give him another year,” The Soviet Top League winner was quoted as saying.
Speaking on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Pavlyuchenko-c31639’s lack of form, Lovchev said:
“I think he is a brilliant striker and he should not worry about the goal tally. He has proved what he is capable of in the past. He does not need to be upset. He need to believe in himself.”
Lokomotiv Moscow’s Pavlyuchenko has scored just four goals in 17 league appearances this season.
