Evgeni Lovchev believes that the Dinamiki are struggling without Andrei Voronin and Aleksandr Samedov and has urged CSKA Moscow to sack Leonid Slutsky
Well-known football expert, Eugene Lovchev, is surprised with Dynamo Moscow’s poor start to the Russian Premier League campaign, blaming the relationship between the players and head coach, Sergey Silkin, for the predicament.
The Dinamiki suffered a 2-0 defeat against Zenit St. Petersburg on Saturday after recoding a below par performance in the 1-0 defeat against Volga Nizhny Novgorod recently. As things stand, the Moscow-based club are at the bottom
spot in the league table.
Lovchev lamented the situation, insisting that the Muscovites are struggling to find form after parting company with their star players: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Samedov-c4609.
The Policemen sold Samedov to Lokomotiv Moscow last month after the Russian midfielder expressed his desire to leave, after falling out with Silkin. Voronin, meanwhile, joined Bundesliga newcomers, Fortuna Düsseldorf, on a season
long loan spell.
“The relation between the players and the coach had not been good last year. The coach came to the team, not having much authority consulted with the players talked a lot with them - this is a lot said and written in the past year. But
even in this period, relations are difficult times, and the impression that Silkin, insisting on his own, had cut off the team,” The Soviet Cup winner was quoted as saying.
“It is necessary to strengthen the line of attack, because the absence of Voronin and Samedov is a serious blow to the team,” He went on
Lovchev insisted that the growing conflict between the coach and the team led to the Dinamiki's downfall last season. Consequently, the White-blues failed to secure a European qualification.
The Russian football analyst has urged Silkin to listen to the players if he is to create a sense of optimism in the locker room.
Commenting on CSKA Moscow's latest 3-1 defeat against Amkar Perm, Lovchev blamed Leonid Slutsky for the disappointing result. He urged the Moscow-based club to find a new manager if they are to win anything in near future.
