Love Is The Key to kill the drought by winning the Jogforjockeys.IE Handicap for trainer, Michael Mulvany
Winless for the last 295 days, the trainer, Michael Mulvany, has entered Love Is The Key in the Jogforjockeys.IE Handicap at Gowran Park  over seven furlongs on Tuesday, 3rd July. Ten three-year and above have turned for the race that offers the winner €5,520 prize money.
Backed by 3 to 1 odds besides Love Is The Key is, Balladiene. Both have already settled into the new season but only Balladiene has been able to post a victory.
Noverre’s six-year-old bay mare out of mare, Kinnego, claimed the very recent race that she took part in. She won the Walls Handicap on 21st June, 2012 at Leopardstown over a mile. After losing four races in line, Balladiene defeated the favourite runner-up, Man Of Erin, by just half a length.
Even this long awaited success came in by a very narrow margin with Ronan Whelan onboard.
Finishing third behind the winner was, Steel Toe Cap.
Her seasonal debut was in the Newbridge Credit Union Handicap on 7th May, 2012 at Curragh over seven furlongs. Ondeafears won the race while leading by three and a half lengths, and setting the favourite of the race, Winning Impact, second.
The only decent outcome besides the recent success was in the Racing Again June 15th Handicap on 9th June, 2012 at Navan over a mile. She qualified as the runner up after missing the race by a short head’s difference from the winner, Cave Artist.
Another note worthy entry for the race is Love Is The Key, Azamour’s three-year-old bay filly out of mare, Russian Muse.
She rolled into the new season on 1st June, 2012 in the Barclay Landline European Breeders Fund Maiden (Fillies) at Down Royal over seven furlongs and ended fourth.
On 13th June, the bay filly settled second in the Fairyhouse.IE Handicap over seven furlongs. The race won by July Revolution.
She then qualified as the runner up in the Ballyduane Stud Handicap on 22nd June, 2012 at Limerick over six and a half furlongs while the race was won by the favourite, Bubbly Bellini.
Two out of the five tries have been second scores for Love Is The Key, and today she is racing after an impressive performance at Limerick which has enhanced her chances of winning today.
