Not much to add. Any form of love makes me sick to my stomach. Hearing the word "your my cutie" increases my blood pressure to phenomenal heights.

So does anyone else here find it disguisting?

  1. no it's not just you unfortunately. join the club ..

  2. Well it goes like this. And be appreciative now, because I'm telling you this pro bono.

When you were a little boy, you had emotional needs. Like being hugged, comforted, kissed, praised, supported, loved...

However, these needs were not met, they were ignored, or ridiculed by parents, especially mother.

When child realizes that his emotional needs won't be met, he starts hating and feel disgusted for having them, and decides: I don't need anybody. I'm ok by myself.

So, your attitude actualy means you have a huge, unresolved need for love. This need is so big that you hate it. Every time somebody says something loving to you brings up on the surface the anger, the loathing you felt as a young boy.

Do some inner child healing techniques. Or you will live a very lonely and empty life.

  3. Love is an over whelming thing that is way more complicated and diverse than what they show on TV. Its very hard to understand if you havn't experienced it. I've only experience a shallow type of love so I'm still waiting for true love to come my way.

It may take years and years and years.

  4. not really

  5. perhaps when the right person comes along.........

on reading your later comments - please seek professional help.  You are alienated - there may be very good reason for that - and the right therapist may help you feel better about yourself and others.
