Love is over rated?

Question

The cold light of day,

That’s your cue to run

The passion burned its over

It was just a bit of fun

Don’t look at me with eyes like that

You know you can not stay

I can’t let you close you me

You know that’s not my way

You say that I’m diamond,

Yes if you mean my hearts a stone

Your never get in side it

I was born to be alone

You say that I must be in love

You have read all the signs

I’m sorry babe to tell you this

I don’t write between the lines.

Why do women fall me?

This isn’t a disguise

I make them no premises

pretend or tell them lies

You may think I’m being nasty,

But I’m honest, and I’m true

I wont let you get close to me

Because I’ll never say I do.

lol...nice poem...some mistakes though...such as,

"The passion burned--it's over" looks better. And

"I can't let you close you me"...it doesn't make sense. Just replace "you me" to either "to me" or "me in".

Also instead of "Your never get inside it", "Your" should be "You'll"...hmmm...also the fourth stanza makes no sense in the way it currently is..although I get what your trying to say.

"Why do women fall me?" it should be "Why do women fall for me"...u spelled promises wrong...etc. :)

i think this is such a great poem,

As it expresses true feelings of soemone,

like its real, and not just a fairytale in your head.
