  1. I think its talking about a person who is unhappy with him/herself (you love to hate). They look in the mirror and want to love themself , but can't because society tells them that there is so much wrong with them. People often suppress the part of themselves that is happy with the way they are (the one who loves the one) because society tells them they need to improve themselves in some way (the one you hate to love). I don't really think its a love quote, but more about the pressures of society and accepting oneself for the way you are.

  2. I think it is about this guy that hates this other guy that is with the girl he wants to be with.  It's really confusing but that is what I think it is about.  This person likes someone, but that person is already in a different relationship, so he hates to love her because he can't have her.  Hope that helped!

  3. this might be a really stupid way of putting it, but its the easiest way to expain it i think-

okay, lets start with you, like literally you. lets say your name is, kim. okay so kim, you 'love to hate' amber because she loves tommy. the reason you 'love to hate' her is becasue you love tommy as well, but you hate that you love him.

so, kim loves to hate amber because she loves tommy, who happens to be the one you hate to love.

YOU LOVE TO HATE THE ONE WHO LOVES THE ONE YOU HATE TO LOVE

lol, okay that sounds so stupid, but its pretty much how i see it. lol
