  1. Thats true the word love has lost its meaning today, its become common place. But maybe when we are expieriencing true love we dont need to express it in words.

  2. I think the meaning has changed, especially recently. But, as it's been changed, younger people seem to mistake the meaning and think all love is the same, eg, "I love meat"="I love my mom". But, also, at the same time, it's been equated more and more with romantic relationships. Guys and girls can't love the same gender without being thought of as g*y, even though that can happen without wanting to hop into the sack with one another. But I think there's no such thing as the word "love" being ruined, since that's just how society and the English language evolves.

Personally, I like the Greek four loves, affection (through extended contact, like family), friendship, eros (sexual/romantic love), and caritas (neighborly, or patriotic). Friendship and romantic love has also intermingled more nowadays.

  3. In my opinion, love today is a very real feeling/emotion.  However, the point to be noted is TODAY!

When tomorrow comes to many people it is like another life!

Yesterday, is long gone, maybe buried in the archives of their mind or forgotten, tomorrow NEVER comes, and they are looking for something new and exciting.

Lets face it, we humans have become like everything else....disposable!.

Looking forward to meeting you all in the city dump yard with all the other players.

  4. Start Trouble got it right in their song Chemical. Awesome song!

    "love is a chemical

    straight from your genitals

    never is spiritual

    never unconditional

    love is a chemical

    nature is radical

    never is spiritual

    its mathematical

and everything you've ever known today

is all the world can give you

dont believe in love or hate

    its only a chemical"

  5. Yes it is.  I never say the words "I love" unless it deals with music, food, or places.  I've found, even at a young age that is has lost its meaning.  The last time I spoke it to a person was when I was around 6.  Because people can say "I love you" so easily it becomes harder to distinguish between what love is and what you say.  But I am saving this phrase for when I truly love someone.  I do love people, like my friends and parents, but I don't say, they should know.  So I will let my actions do the talking, not my lips.  Then I know I am really expressing love.

  6. sometimes we mistake love from the first step into it. we say it all the time, but we really don't know what we r talking about, so that's y it's so easy. it's like when someone's like. omg! i love joe jonas! (just for the record, i don't like the jonas brothers)

  7. "im in love" is feeling sexual for a person but also caring about them; it is purley chemical but we like to think we can control it.
