Lovebird diet?

I'd like to know a list of all the foods a lovebird can eat, and what it cannot eat.

Please and thank you!

I'd also love some suggestions on any special food they like. =)

Lovebirds require more than just seed. A pelleted diet, supplemented with fresh fruits, vegetables, boiled eggs, cereals, pasta, rice, and lentils will produce a heathly, beautifully feathered Lovebird. Many Lovebird breeders also feed a seed-based diet, with most of the other foods as supplements.

I don't get why the first answerer got thumbs down! She's correct. A good diet for lovebirds includes organic pellets supplemented with fruits and veggies. Spray millet makes the perfect snack too. Other good treats include beans,fully cooked rice,wheat bread drenched in soy milk, and even small amounts of chicken and eggs.
