The former West http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 Under-21 international has stressed that he made mistakes against the Azzurri in the semi-final of the European championship, and thinks he could approach the game differently
Germany national team boss Joachim Low has insisted that he employed the wrong strategy in the 2-1 Euro 2012 semi-final defeat against Italy. He admitted that with the experience he has now, he would have changed things in the
important clash last summer.
The head coach also accepted responsibility for his part in the shocking collapse of Die Nationalelf in the 4-4 stalemate with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015, in which they let their opponents score four goals to level the game after going 4-0 up. He
claimed that he has learnt from his time as manager of the national team.
The team trainer stated that he regrets making different choices in the Italy clash. He said that he had devised a game-plan for the semi-final, but to their dismay it was not the best approach.

"With the knowledge I have today, I would probably approach the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 game differently," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the former attacking midfielder suggested that in the Sweden game, he made Mario Gotze and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 to help out in the defence and it backfired. Nevertheless, the current year was a learning experience
for his young side and for him as well.

"I had a clear plan for that game and of course I have to now admit that the plan did not work," the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 player added.

"Against Sweden, I got Gotze and Podolski to drop deeper to try give us more security and that did not work. The year 2012 was constructive for all of us and I have certainly learned from it," the former Fenerbahce SK and Karlsruher SC coach finally concluded.
Low’s deal with Die Mannschaft runs out in 2014, and he recently expressed his desire to commit his long-term future with the national side beyond his contract. He said that he is willing to coach the team for a long time, despite
Real Madrid being interested in his services.
