  1. Not for that price....you can find a whole bunch of 720P displays for that price.

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?...

They aren't over 32 inches....and I'd suggest the LG or Samsung TVs, not the Dynex or Insignia....

But that's ok....smaller TVs don't need 1080P because the 720P is sharp enough for those sizes....you really won't be disappointed with them.

  2. Try www.vizio.com they have decently priced LCD HDTVs I have one, a 37" 1080i that i got for around 700 from wal mart, of course different sizes and resoltuions cost different amounts but it's a good lower price brand. plus ive never had a major problem with mine.

  3. The average start off at 1300$-2500$ when you start or go above 30 because they default to wide screen mode. I bought one recently 22 inc wide screen can be used as a computer monitor with HDMI input and Component (green, blue, red).

no link needed, go into any place that sells Samsung TV's (Amazon same price) model number LN22A450 its 1680x1050 which for its size or a 24 (300$ more)  inch model is 1080p even my PS3 recognizes the 1080p and computer does to (asuming you have a HD card for the comp). only 35 and above in size you need 1920x1080p. got it 8 days ago for about 515$ Samsung is not generic, they make LCD screens for Sony. picture is really good and the games and computer looks awesome.

If you want something bigger you have to shell out above 1000$ the bigger you go. that 22inch is a steal dude.

  4. Your best bet, would be trying to find a model that a store is out of and buying the floor model....That's what I did today, It's a Samsung DLP LED 50" 1080p with a ratio of 10000:1.  Last one so it was the floor model, got it for $989 and it retails for $1200 at best buy.

  5. I don't think your gonna get a 1080p hdtv for those prices. The cheapest those tv's go for is about $999 and up. By the way you didn't even mention how many inches you wanted. On second thought you can probably checkout ebay, you might get lucky. But don't think your gonna get a 30-40 inch 1080p tv for those prices.
