Low Wood Gift tipped to win the Belle Vue 670
Low Wood Gift has the best chances of winning the Belle Vue 670 in England on Thursday, April 5, 2012. The triumphant greyhound will be awarded with prize money of £150.
The Grade OR, 670 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:40 GMT and the six entries confirmed for it are as follows: Low Wood Gift, Jack Relax, Hes The Stig, Crinkill George, Burgess Eagle and Ard Inferno.
The bookies have sown full faith in Low Wood Gift, who has been doing a decent job over the past few races. He managed to win his last race at Belle Vue and has very good chances of repeating such a show again.
H. Adamson trainee had a starting price of 4 to 5 in his last race and he dominated the proceedings. He got off to a good start and did not allow anyone else to come closer until the end, winning the race by more than a couple of lengths.
Considering the good speed and stamina of Low Wood Gift, the punters will be encouraged to place the maximum number of bets on him.
The seasoned hound is the son of Droopys Maldini out of Mill Lane Maggie and was born in April 2009.
Another hound, expected to do well in the Belle Vue 670, is Jack Relax. He has been performing well in this class but does not have much experience of racing at this venue. However, that will not be a big issue for him.
In his previous outing at Nottingham, Jack Relax finished in a disappointing sixth place, after having entered the race with a starting price of 7 to 1. He looked in control of proceedings at the start, but failed to match his rivals in the end.
P. Rosney, trainer of the second favourite hound, will be expecting a better show by his runner this time. The brindle dog is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Miggs and was born in December 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Hes The Stig will also be expected to do well in today’s race.
The real battle in this race will be between the top two, who are in very good rhythm right now.
