The German national team boss is confident of a great showing in next year’s European Championships but has admitted that is will not be easy.

the competition with a perfect record, winning ten of the ten matches played in the qualifying round.

glimpses of great quality in the qualifiers and they cannot be ruled out from the race.
The boss further added that Ukraine and Poland cannot be ruled out as they are the host nations and in the past host teams have performed brilliantly.
“We have a shot at the title, but so do many other teams. We are one team among a group of favourites. Spain, the Netherlands, France, England, Italy, Portugal and certainly the two host countries should play a positive role at
the EURO 2012,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to the official DFB website.
The national team manager added that Die Mannschaft has a very talented young team and there are some world-class players in the squad. He insisted that Germany surely has a great chance this time around and remained hopeful that
the probability can be converted into success next year.
“We’ll bring a young team, very ambitious, very much ready for the challenge. With all our players, I feel a strong desire to win a championship. We’d like to continue our growth. And hopefully, that will translate into a great
outcome of the EURO 2012,” he concluded.
