Low budget accomadation in Milan - Italy?

Question

I am 24 years old Sri Lankan girl who is willing to travel Italy with work holiday visa on April. I am looking for a budget accommodation in Milan, Italy. A room in a hostel, cheep guest house will be ok. Can any body give me a rough idea how much will I have to pay per a day / per a month to stay in that kind of place? And also would be great if you can give me a rough idea on how much I have to spend per a month including traveling, food, and transportation in law budget.

And also I would like to know, what sort of temporary & seasonal work I can find in Italy in April.

I suggest looking into "pensione's" which is similar to a hostel that usually includes breakfast & dinner as part of the rate.
