  1. 3500 calories equals 1 pound.

    All you have to do is cut 500 calories from your diet each day and exercise to burn 500 calories a day. Do this every day and you will lose 2 pounds a week.

    Cut more calories, and exercise more and you will lose more weight.

    I did this and lost 6 pounds in only 2 weeks. And you won't gain it back because you are doing it right.

    Do no go below 1200 calories a day or you will start to burn muscle, not fat calories.

  2. Just be sure to stay away from anything in a package. All fresh and frozen fruits and veggies are good. All noodle meals...bad. You get where I'm going? When you go grocery shopping stay on the outer edge of the store and you should keep all the bad carbs aways just doing this. If you feel the need to have some bread do. Just try a new bread. My favorite one is the sarah lee 45 calorie bread. It's low in cals and high in fiber. I actually don't like other (regular) breads anymore ans have to have my sarah lee.Good luck. You should feel awesome in a couple of days. When I cut out refined sugars and starches I had so much more energy and less crankiness.

  3. Just don't eat white foods, i.e. flour, starch, rice and the pounds will fall off.  Stick to veggies, fruit and protein.  Drink lots of water.

  4. just an fyi, i did the atkins diet and was unsuccessful in the long run. i lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks, but had no energy. and when i started eating carbs again, i gained 12 lbs. all i ate was canned tuna and salads. good luck
