Low dose aspirin?

hello,

i feel bad for my 9 yr (110 lb) old dog. she can't barely walk and sore getting out of bed. can i give her low dose aspirin? will the low dose ones help with the pain or do i need to administer regular strength for her pain?

  1. I think BABY asprin is o.k....but call a vet. Some pain killers can kill dogs.


  2. Go to a drug store like walgreens and you can buy over the counter medicine called, Ascripten. Give her one every 6-8 hrs,

  3. I heard aspirin is toxic to dogs. Call a vet.

  4. There are new drugs for joint pain in dogs.  They work really well.  I have a 15 yr old dog with hip problems and they have kept us from having to put him down over a year ago.

  5. Take a VERY small dose if you dun wanna kill him. They die pretty fast
